Just the “Blues” or Are You Depressed?
Take the CESD Depression Scale and see.
The Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression (CESD) Scale questionnaire was developed in the 1970’s to detect clinical depression.
It asks you to report the frequency with which each of twenty events was experienced during the previous week. On this scale (see below), circle the number next to each item that best reflects how frequently you experienced that event in the past seven days.
